The 2008 Cooperative Education Conference for Young Couples will be held November 7-9 at Bay Watch Resort in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

A couple or individual who is a member of a cooperative, works with extension or serves as an agricultural educator and is between the ages of 21 and 40 is eligible to attend. 2008 Application

Elected by couples and cooperative representatives attending the Conference, Jack and Susan Clifton of Gilbert, S.C., were chosen as the 2008 Host Couple. They were sponsored by Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative.

South Carolina couples attending the 2007 conference were sponsored by Aiken Electric Cooperative, Marlboro Electric Cooperative, Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative, Pee Dee Electric Cooperative, Broad River Electric Cooperative and AgSouth Farm Credit.

Chris and Lindsey Byrd of Darlington were sponsored by Pee Dee Electric Cooperative.
