The S.C. Cooperative Council held its annual meeting on March 18 at the S.C. Farm Bureau auditorium. Following the business meeting, the Awards Luncheon, sponsored by AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, ArborOne ACA and AgSouth Farm Credit, was held at which Nick McNair, vice president of AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, was guest speaker.
Brock Bass was presented the award as the 2007 Outstanding Youth; Susan & Jack Clifton were recognized as the 2007 Outstanding Couple; and Jan Bonnette with Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative was honored as the 2008 Outstanding Cooperator.
